CrossFit Burlingame provides a training experience with more than just excellent programming. Our dedicated staff is welcoming, highly experienced, and motivating. Our team sets out to create an atmosphere of community, positivity, acceptance and achievement. Our staff is as diverse in their own fitness histories as they are in their coaching styles, but you can be sure that they are the best in the field of fitness while fostering an environment of belonging and achievement.   • James Weiss

    CEO and Founder

    James started out on his fitness career in 2005 and was introduced to CrossFit shortly after. After training under some notable names in CrossFit, James decided it was time to grow his own CrossFit community. In 2011, CrossFit Burlingame opened its doors in a 1,800 square foot warehouse space and has since grown into a 7,800 square foot, cutting edge facility.

    James obtained his bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology with the intent of going to grad school, but in finding a passion for fitness and CrossFit, he now uses his knowledge to help motivate his members and break down their personal barriers. He’s passionate about helping people look and feel better, have more energy, and enjoy life more. CrossFit Burlingame is his home and family — he treasures the relationships he’s developed over the years. He strives to bring as much love and understanding to coaching while balancing it with accountability and structure.

    In James’ words: “I’ve aimed to grow CrossFit Burlingame beyond a center for fitness, to a home where people actually know one another and are able to receive much more than just a great workout. We truly are a big family that you have to experience to truly feel the power of and connection of. “

  • Rebecca Siguenza

    Coach, Member Coordinator

    A lifelong dancer, Rebecca has always been active but she began struggling with weight. With proper nutrition and CrossFit, she was able to lose 30 pounds and has kept it off. She finds herself in the best shape of her life and is excited to have this opportunity to help others on their journey. As a former RN with a solid understanding of the human body, injury and recovery, she is a wonderful asset to the Burlingame team. Rebecca chose to change career fields because of her passion for preventing illness and disease. Today, she specializes in assisting clients with weight management and chronic health conditions.

    In Rebecca’s words: “ I have a sincere passion for health and fitness and enjoy nothing more than the opportunity to help others through their journey of obtaining a happy and healthier lifestyle! CrossFit has changed my life and I want to share that gift with others. It is an incredible feeling to help others realize what they are truly capable of.”

  • Andrew Ramos

    Program Director

    Andrew came to CrossFit Burlingame to get strong. With an elite background in wrestling, he is driven and motivated and understands the mental game and is stronger than ever. The transition from athlete to coach was natural and Andrew is passionate about showing people that anything is possible. He specializes in Olympic weightlifting and building physical and mental strength.

    In Andrew’s words: “I get excited when someone wants to try us out because they have no idea what they are in for and I want to be the person to show them what is possible when you step through the doors of GCBG.”

  • Sean Corsiglia

    Coach

    Sean knew it would only be a matter of time before he became a CrossFit coach. He truly loves helping people and is always pushing himself to become better and evolve. In some ways, he wants to help others improve themselves and their lives more than he wants success for himself. But in looking back at what he’s been able to accomplish as a coach, he sees that he’s been successful since being on his CrossFit path.

    In Sean’s words: “I love seeing my athletes get better and stronger every day they walk in the gym! I love building up their mental strength and watching their confidence rise!”

  • Jessica Adams

    Coach

    Jessica is a former dancer and gymnast with over 6 years of coaching experience. Her gymnastics background is what initially drew her to CrossFit. When she started training, Jessica saw a noticeable increase in strength and muscle mass. “I’ve always been told women don’t have upper body strength. But with CrossFit Burlingame’s supportive coaches and awesome programming, I’ve completed pull-ups, bar muscle-ups, and rope climbs.” After nearly 3 years of CrossFit, Jessica’s in the best shape of her life!

    In Jessica’s words: “As a coach, I’m passionate about helping athletes meet their full potential both physically and mentally. I am a firm believer that EVERYONE is an athlete and every body is capable of amazing things.”

  • Frank Espinoza

    Coach

    Frank is an amazing coach who spent his youth playing baseball, basketball, and soccer. The latter of which he continued at a collegiate level. As an adult, Frank switched over to CrossFit and never looked back. He was so enamored with it that he made training his profession. With a Level 1 certification under his belt, Frank uses his skills to help members take control of their health while gaining mobility and increasing their confidence.

  • Graeme Baylen

    Coach

    Graeme is a CrossFit Coach with several years of training to his credit. As a child, he spent his free time playing soccer and football, which eventually led him to weightlifting. It built a solid foundation of principles he’d later use in CrossFit, a program he discovered in 2012. CrossFit reminds Graeme of his days as a team player because it’s intense, competitive, and most importantly, FUN!
